Big Striker ran well enough to make the trip worthwhile. All I was hoping for was a sign of life and he gave a good effort for half a mile. The race was used as a prep for his next start at Penn National. In the conditions book there is a PA-bred Md 10000 on July 31st that looks like a fit. &lt;br /&gt;

I did end up in the winner's circle. A buddy of mine is part owner of Circleboundbay, 22-1 winner of the nightcap. &lt;br /&gt;
