The Economist's Special Report on Gambling

This week's Economist has a 14 page special report on gambling  by Jon Fasman. Truxton trainer Randy Matthews and yours truly were two of the people interviewed for the piece. Their website has an excellent audio interview with the author.

    We had an interesting session at the Kentucky International Equine Symposium here a few months ago on the topic of different business models at racetracks. Panelists included head-honchos from Oaklawn, Woodbine, and Penn National.
