Dutrow/IEAH - Please go away
Curlin couldn’t win the Derby, we could. Curlin couldn’t win the Haskell, we could. Curlin got beat by a filly. We haven’t. Our horse is undefeated on grass. Curlin isn’t. I don’t know why people think Curlin is such a good horse. We’re way better than Curlin.
– Richard Dutrow
This quote was made after Big Brown was life and death to beat a horse that was soundly defeated in an N2X last time out. As for Curlin, IEAH and Dutrow know where to go looking for him. Curlin will run next in the Woodward Stakes. That gives Big Brown 27 days to prepare. Big Brown’s connections have already ruled out the Travers because 20 days isn’t enough time between races (weak). IEAH is looking for a turf race in September.
I know racetracks are going to make offers for us to come there. We’re pretty adamant on getting that race in or around the 13th. We’re hoping somebody will create a grass race for us, and I bet somebody does. There’ll be offers to get this horse. You saw yesterday the electricity in that place was awesome.

What about the Hirsch Turf Classic (G1) at Belmont Park on Sept 27? The Kentucky Cup Turf (G3) on Sept 13? I think these jackasses want a turf race restricted to 3yos at 9 furlongs and level weights. If IEAH/Dutrow want to continue to talk a big game, run big Brown against Curlin in the Woodward or go to the Mass Cap and run against Commentator. In either race he would smoked. His owners and trainers obviously agree or they would be running him instead of running their mouths.
